Questions You Should Ask Your Pro
If you've never had a golf lesson or attended a clinic before, you may wonder what to expect. Naturally, you can expect to learn some fundamentals of the game and the golf swing, but you could get even more out of it if you aren't afraid to ask questions.

Consider these when evaluating the pro's approach to teaching:
  • Does the instructor sound positive?
  • Does she communicate effectively?
  • How are concepts explained - through physical demonstration, talking, swinging the club with the student?
  • Does the instructor offer lesson packages?
  • Does she use video?
During your lesson:
  • List your personal goals for improving your golf game.
  • Ask the pro if these goals are realistic.
  • Ask for a specific practice plan.
  • Ask for drills you can do at home or before teeing off at the course.
  • Ask how many lessons you will need to achieve your goals.
