$14,000 raised in 2011 for Breast Cancer Research |
LPGA Golf
Clinics for Women's charity partner is Susan G. Komen for the
Cure. In 2010, through silent auctions at each Clinic location,
apparel sales and the sale of "Cure Board" raffle spots, the
Clinics raised $13,640 for this important cause. That brings our
21-year total to over $813,000 in support of breast cancer
screening, education, research and treatment. We thank all
Clinic participants for their support of Komen for the Cure on
site. You are making a difference for the many lives touched by
this disease, and with your help, recent studies show a
considerable decrease in related deaths due to early detection,
awareness and overall a better understanding of how to fight it.

About Susan G.
Komen for the Cure®
Nancy G. Brinker promised her dying sister, Susan G. Komen, she
would do everything in her power to end breast cancer forever.
In 1982, that promise became Susan G. Komen for the Cure and
launched the global breast cancer movement. Today, Komen for the
Cure is the world’s largest grassroots network of breast cancer
survivors and activists fighting to save lives, empower people,
ensure quality care for all and energize science to find the
cures. Thanks to events like the Komen Race for the Cure® and
Komen 3-Day for the Cure®, we have invested more than $1.9
billion to fulfill our promise, becoming the largest source of
nonprofit funds dedicated to the fight against breast cancer in
the world. For more information about Susan G. Komen for the
Cure, breast health or breast cancer, visit
