for the Cure
is a non-profit organization with a network of volunteers
working through local chapters across the Country who are
fighting to eradicate breast cancer as a life threatening
disease by advancing research, education, screening and
treatment. Susan G. Komen for the Cure’s promise is to save
lives and end breast cancer forever by empowering people,
ensuring quality care for all and energizing science to find the

Komen for the
Cure Silent Auction
A silent auction
is held at each LPGA Golf Clinic for Women to raise money in
support of Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Clinic participants are
welcome to bid on these items throughout the day to help the
cause; items are awarded during the closing dinner. Thousands of
dollars are generated to help fight breast cancer through these
auctions. Items include golf apparel, equipment and accessories
as well as sponsor-donated gifts featuring women-friendly
products and services.

LPGA Golf Clinics for Women holds 15 Clinics
throughout the season. If you can provide a product or service
to be featured in one or more of our auctions, please contact
Jenn Shedd (jshedd@jbcgolf.com)
for details. Items typically range from $25 to $250 in value,
but we are open to anything that will help the charity and happy
to increase awareness of your products or services in the
